– 日本・福岡を拠点に活動。
– 4歳より、ブロードウェイスタイルのタップダンサーであった母のもとで、タップ・ジャズ・バレエを始める。
– 幼少期から10代半ばまではブロードウェイスタイルのタップを中心に学び、その後、世界各国から来日する著名なタップダンサーたちからジャズタップやインプロビゼーションを学びながら、表現の幅を広げる。
– ブロードウェイスタイルを基盤に、より音楽的で表現豊かなタップダンスへと発展。
– 映画『TAP THE LAST SHOW』（水谷豊監督・主演）出演。
– 文化庁メディア芸術祭エンターテインメント部門受賞作品に出演。
– 東京で行われている、日本で最も歴史あるタップダンス公演『National Tap Dance Day』など、数多くの公演やイベントに出演。
– 2024年、JTSP日本代表奨学生としてシカゴ「Rhythm World 34」に参加。
– 2025年、バンコク「Bangkok Tap Dance Festival」に参加。長年の憧れのメンターである Sarah Reich 氏のレッスンを受講するために渡航し、フェスティバル期間中、Sarah氏の初級・中級クラスにてアシスタントを任される。
– 舞台・映像作品、テレビCMなどでの振付・出演も行う。
– 現在は自身のタップスタジオを運営しながら、日本各地でワークショップやパフォーマンスを展開。
– 音楽性、リズム、全身での表現を大切にしたタップダンスを追求している。

Aili Yasutake

– Based in Fukuoka, Japan.
– Began studying tap, jazz, and ballet at the age of four under her mother, a Broadway-style tap dancer.
– Trained primarily in Broadway-style tap through her early teens. From her late teens, she attended workshops led by international tap artists visiting Japan, traveling to Tokyo, Osaka, and other cities to broaden her artistic perspective.
– She also participated frequently in local jam sessions with musicians, often as the only tap dancer, developing her improvisation skills and deepening her sense of musicality and expression.
– Evolved from a Broadway-style foundation into a tap style that emphasizes musicality and expressive performance.
– Appeared in the film TAP THE LAST SHOW, directed by Yutaka Mizutani.
– Featured in an award-winning project at the Japan Media Arts Festival.
– Performed in National Tap Dance Day, one of Japan’s most long-established and leading tap dance stage productions, which has been held since 1991, as well as in various other performances and events across Japan.
– Selected as a JTSP scholarship recipient, representing Japan at Rhythm World 34 in Chicago (2024).
– In 2025, participated in the Bangkok Tap Dance Festival, where she initially attended as a student to study under her long-time mentor Sarah Reich, and was later invited to assist in Sarah’s beginner and intermediate classes during the festival.
– Choreographed and appeared in various stage productions and television commercials.
– Currently operates her own tap dance studio in Fukuoka while teaching and performing throughout Japan.
– Focuses on musicality, rhythm, and full-body expression in tap dance.
